Taz is a 5 year old Patterdale Terrier. He was one of the most changelling dogs we have ever come across. Taz had been re-homed several times before the lovely Hornby family who walk the RSCPA dogs in their spare time fell for him I would love to say hook, line and sinker but that wasn't the case at first. But the Hornby family never caved and took it apon themselves to do everything they possible could to rehabilitate Taz and ensure he became a stable, friendly and loving family companion.

Taz being a Terrier has a natural tendency to hunt and many people seem to forget these dogs are working dogs and these instinct remain strong, they were more commonly employed to hunt down rodents on farms and ambush unwary rabbits for lunch! It is important not to be fooled by their size because Terriers need plenty of exercise, possessing great stamina. They can also prove to be rather obstinate, and need sound training. As you can see in the photo Maggie is using plant pots and his favour ball to keep him mental stimulated to avoid frustration and hyperactivity this is a great game to combine exercise for the body and mind.
