2011 Christmas appeal

RSPCA Stockport, East Cheshire and West Derbyshire Branch Christmas Appeal 2011
This year, your local branch of the RSPCA is looking to raise a minimum of £5000.00 to help animals in your area. Christmas is always a challenging time for our branch with animals facing increased exposure to the elements in addition to the challenges we encounter throughout the year.

In the run up to Christmas, we are looking at:

1. How we can help to reduce the number of homeless animals in future years
2. Re-homing and caring for abused and homeless animals on the run up to and during the Christmas period

During 2011 we have witnessed an increase in the number of young kittens being abandoned and mistreated. Having too many kittens and not enough homes presents difficult challenges and, on occasion, difficult choices. Our aim for 2012 is to help avoid unwanted litters by providing a non-means tested neutering service across our area. We aim to help as many animals as possible although we will obviously be limited by the amount of funds we raise. Every donation we receive from you will be put towards our Christmas campaign. Any remaining funds will be rolled into future initiatives to help prevent animal cruelty in your area and care for those animals which are abandoned or find themselves in need of a home or care.
Every penny helps but if every fourth visitor to our site donated...

£1.00 - we would raise £3,000.00

£5.00 - we would raise £15,000.00 and not only support animals this Christmas but well into the new year.

£10.00 - we would raise £30,000.00 and ensure your local branch continues to provide the dedicated support to prevent cruelty to animals throughout 2012.

Simply text SKRS11 and the amount for example £1 to 70070 (ie SKRS11 £1). Your donation will appear on your next mobile phone bill and every penny goes directly to our charity.

You will receive thank you message to confirm that you donation has been received.  Please note that you should use capitals and insert a space after 11 and before £1.
