Rehabilitation

A good deal of the animals which come into our care need some form of rehabilitation, this may include specialist treatments and veterinary support in addition to rest and recuperation which is essential for the animal's well being. Some animals require rehabilitation above and beyond rest and medication and this is where our volunteers are essential.

A key part of the rehabilitation process is learning to live happily in a home environment after whatever trauma they have suffered.  This is often provided in experienced foster homes prior to a forever home being found for the dog or cat.

Each and every year our volunteers invest time and emotion into rescued animals from across Stockport, East Cheshire and West Derbyshire.  It is their continued commitment and support that enables troubled animals to be connected with new caring homes.
